I still can’t believe that this happened. I’ve taken the test many times, auditioned twice, and finally got the call to appear a few months ago. Without hesitation, my family made plans to accompany me to Los Angeles and @jacks_13 dragged her two month old on his first flight so she could support me in person (major thanks to @_renvi for the childcare).
Love to my people for encouraging and believing in me and to my lovely cardiologist for the beta blocker prescription, without which I surely would have vomited all over the storied Alex Trebek Stage.
Much gratitude to the staff and crew at Jeopardy who run an impressively well-oiled machine, and to the wonderful @whoiskenjennings who I imagine is the nicest, smartest man in Hollywood and deserves every Emmy ever.
To everyone who has ever told me “you should go on Jeopardy!”, please help me come up with a new life goal.
