Max was raised by parents who remembered the effect of the Second World War. After earning a degree in product design and visualization from Bournemouth University in 2000, he went to Germany and learned the use of recycled materials.
The 45-year-old has designed BOTL BLOX – a cupboard box filled with plastic bottles while visiting Kenya. There, he used it as insulated building blocks for new schools. He loves speaking to kids and the first thing he does is apologize for what his generation has done.
