Mola Lenghi is an Emmy award-winning journalist who now serves as a correspondent at ABC News. He has been assigned to the position since June 2022.

Prior to that, he served as a New York-based correspondent for CBS News. There, he reported across all programs and platforms, such as “CBS Mornings,” “CBS Evening News” and the digital streaming service CBSN.
Lenghi worked at CBS for five years, joining in 2017 as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent for CBS Newspath. During his tenure, he reported numerous stories such as the NYC subway shooter; the assassination of Jovenel Moïse, the president of Haiti, and the deadly protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Before CBS, he was a reporter at CBS-affiliated WUSA-TV in D.C., where he worked from 2013 to 2018. He earned an Emmy Award in 2015 for his reporting on the disappearance of Relisha Rudd, an 8-year-old girl who disappeared in 2014 and has never been found.
Likewise, he spent two years at the NBC-owned KXAS-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. There, he reported on the 2011 World Series and the deadly explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas.
Lenghi began his broadcasting career in 2006 at the ABC and The CW affiliate WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There, he covered breaking news, hurricanes, wildfires, presidential campaigns, and more.

Well, Lenghi is a married man now. He is relishing a married life with his wife Joanie Vasiliadis.
