Nick Heise gained his popularity after appearing on the 38th season of the longest running quiz game show, Jeopardy!
A technical services engineer from Madison, Wisconsin, he made his debut on the show on 10 February 2022 episode. Eventually, he became a one-day champion and exited from the show bagging total winnings of $27,900.

As Jeopardy! has been renewed with its 40th season in 2023, the previous season contestants are getting a second chance for redemption. As of now, the show is offering previous winners a chance for a spot at this year’s Tournament of Champions.
Heise is looking forward to earning his spot on the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions this season on the 21 November 2023 episode. There, he will face two previous champions; Ed Hashima, a community college history professor from Sacramento, California, and Sandy Olive, a high school English teacher from Saint Louis, Missouri.

Ed appeared in the first-ever Jeopardy! Professors Tournament! in 2021. There, he reached the final and ended up being a 1st runner-up with total winnings of $50,000.
Likewise, Sandy appeared on the 37th season, making her debut on 22 June 2021 episode. A-two champion, she bagged total winnings of $54,200, appearing on three episodes.

Nick Heise is 27 years old now. He was born Nicholas Martin Heise in the year 1996 and celebrates his birthday in July every year.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, he spent his early life with his family there. He is an American by nationality and belongs to White ethnicity.
After graduating from high school, he went to the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Anthropology in 2019. Likewise, he earned a Master of Science in Management degree from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business in 2020.
