Nicole Auerbach is an American sports journalist who works as a college football insider for NBC Sports. She joined the network in August 2023.
As a lead college football and college basketball insider, she contributes coverage on TV, in writing, and via podcast. She appears weekly on NBC Sports’ Big Ten College Countdown studio show and across college football programming on NBC Sports platforms, providing the latest from the players, coaches, and schools each week.

In addition to her role, she has been serving as a radio host for SiriusXM since January 2019. She has been covering college football and basketball for numerous outlets for more than a decade.
Before joining NBC, she worked as a senior writer for The Athletic for seven years. Focusing on national college football coverage she broke news and wrote enterprise and feature stories.
Likewise, she was a studio analyst at Big Ten Network from August 2014 to June 2024. There, she appeared weekly during the college football season on the network’s flagship shows to analyze news and storylines within and beyond the Big Ten conference.
