Teeple began his career in the United States Navy. There, he served on a fast attack submarine as a Sonar Technician during Desert Storm.
After receiving an Honorable discharge, he left the Navy and began working as a construction electrician. Afterward, he joined the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADOC) and worked as a Corrections Officer for 12 years.
Ross joined the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy sheriff in 2007. He was then promoted to Sergeant and later began working as a Lieutenant.
