Rotimi Kukoyi is a Health Policy and Management student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is a Jeopardy contestant who appeared on the Jeopardy Teen Tournament back in 2018.
Moreover, he was just 14 years old when made his debut in the 2018 Teen Tournament quarterfinal game 2 on 8 November 2018. However, he did not make it to the semifinals. After more than five years, he is making a return on the show.
Kukoyi will appear as a contestant on the ongoing Jeopardy Second Chance Tournament! on the 9 January 2024 episode. There, he will face two previous season contestants; April Marquet, a digital production artist from Oakland, California, and Pam Warren, a high school science teacher from Petersburg, Illinois.

Rotimi is the youngest contestant in Jeopardy’s Season 39 Second Chance Tournament! On returning to the show, he revealed his excitement saying,

Rotimi Kukoyi Age, Parents & Family Background
Born in the year 2004, Rotimi Kukoyi has just reached the age of 19 now. He was 14 years old when he competed in the Jeopardy Teen Tournament in 2018.
Originally from Hoover, Alabama, he spent his early life with his family there. His mother is Amy Kukoyi but are is no information regarding his father. He comes from a large family and is accompanied by siblings.

Kukoyi is Nigerian American by ethnicity. His parents came from Nigeria to the United States to seek better opportunities.
His Education Details
Earlier, Rotimi attended Pleasant Hill Elementary School and then went to Hoover High School. There, he graduated in 2022 and was the first Black National Merit Scholar at his school.
Moreover, he was a student winner of the 2022 Finley Award for character by the Hoover City School system and the Finley Committee. He was accepted to more than 15 prestigious universities including Yale, Harvard, Stanford, the University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Emory, Rice, Johns Hopkins, Duke, and the University of Alabama. He also received a total of $2 million in scholarship offers.

Kukoyi is now studying health policy and management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is a genius student and has been featured in Good Morning America, USAToday, Huffpost, APNews, ABC News, Yahoo!, and other outlets.
In 2021, his video was one of four winners of a $250 gift card in the Alabama Department of Public Health’s “Vaccinate Alabama TikTok Contest.” He was also a member of the Buccaneers varsity soccer team.
What Is Rotimi Kukoyi’s Job?
Well, Kukoyi is a student and does not hold a full-time job. He is now an Incoming health financing intern at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Nigeria office.
Besides, he is an internee at the Office of Secretary at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. He was selected as a Public Voices Fellow with the OpEd Project in partnership with the National Black Child Development Institute in May 2023.
