Brandon Broughton is a local history librarian, originally from Ozark, Missouri, United States. He is a new contestant in the popular trivia game show, Jeopardy!

The contestant will appear on the 39th season of the NBC quiz game show in 2023. He will face two contestants; a previous episode champion Brian Henegar and Teresa Browning, a home inspector from Columbus, Ohio, United States.
Brian is a guest services agent from La Follette, Tennessee. He won Tuesday’s Jeopardy episode with a total score of $23,201. Out of three contestants, he led the game in all three rounds and answered the final question correctly.
Broughton is the first person from Ozark, Missouri to compete on the show. He dreamed of competing on this show since he was a child after his parents gave him a Jeopardy! computer game.
On competing on the show, he said it was a great experience and the entire production team was very friendly and gracious. After passing a series of online tests and interviews went to Los Angeles to compete in the show in January 2023.
So, will Brandon be a new Jeopardy champion? He will compete on Wednesday’s episode on 5 April 2023.

Brandon Broughton Age & Wiki: How Old Is He?
Broughton has reached the age of 26 now. He was born Brandon Cole Broughton in the year 1996 and his birthday falls on the 30th of July.
As per wiki, he has been interested in trivia since an early age. With his knowledge and education and training, he got an opportunity to compete on the show.
Brandon shared his experience on the show as “Pretty surreal altogether” and the taping of the show was very streamlined. Moreover, he stated that he does not remember 80% of the experience just from the adrenaline, so watching it all on television will almost be like doing it for the first time again.

Brandon was raised by his parents Danny Broughton and Alisa Broughton in Ozark, Missouri. His father works in the health sector and his mother is a respiratory therapist.
Likewise, his grandparents are Richard Broughton and Mary Broughton. His grandfather Richard worked at the Missouri Division of Youth Services.
Similarly, his grandmother worked in the health sector as a regional nurse supervisor. Most of his family members are in the health sector.
Broughton has even interviewed his grandparents about their early relationship and marriage, and their work with children. The interview was held at The Missouri Department of Youth Services in May 2022.

Moreover, he is accompanied by two sisters named Morghan and Shaylee Broughton. Morghan studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Broughton now holds the job of a local history librarian based in Missouri. He is a local history associate at the Springfield-Greene County Library District.
Moreover, he works as a student assistant at Missouri University of Science & Technology’s Office of Sponsored Programs. There, he is involved in creating visually-engaging reports and newsletters detailing important information for and regarding graduate research on the college.
