In singles, he has won four titles on the ATP Challenger Tour and six titles at the ITF Futures Tour. He has also won seven doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour and one on the ITF Futures Tour.
As a junior, he reached the semifinals at the 2012 Australian Open and 2012 French Open and quarterfinal at 2011 US Open in singles. Moreover, he made two Grand Slam finals at the 2012 Australian Open and the 2012 French Open in doubles. He reached the combined world ranking of No. 7 on 30 January 2012.

Pavlasek was born to Czech parents on 8 October 1994. His mother is Lenka Pavlásková and his father is Jaromir Pavlasek.
The athlete grew up with his family in Bílovec, a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. His family consists of a sister named Monika Pavlásková.
