Subsequently, he made his debut for the team in a 2–1 away win against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup on 27 August 2019. On 2nd August 2021, he penned a five-year contract extension with Brighton keeping him with the club until 2026.
A product of Portsmouth’s youth academy, Webster joined the team at the age of 12. After playing for the first team, he was loaned to Aldershot Town. Later, he joined the EFL Championship club Ipswich Town on 6 June 2016.
The 6-foot-3-inch then joined the EFL Championship side Bristol City on 28 June 2018. He played a season with the City before joining Brighton & Hove Albion.
