Allison was married in the past to an American computer programmer and entrepreneur, Scott Hassan. Her ex-husband, Scott was the main programmer of the original Google Search engine, then known as BackRub.

Allison originally met Hassan in 2000 through mutual friends at Stanford. The pair soon started dating and they walked down the aisle together five days before Christmas in 2001.
The couple’s wedding took place at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. While Scott had $60,000 in debt at that time, it was Huynh who paid for food, travel, and entertainment, including their engagement party.
Following their nuptials, Allison and Scott welcomed two daughters and one son into their lives. Their first daughter was born in 2003. The pair then welcomed their second daughter in 2006 followed by a son in 2008.

Sadly, Allison and Scott’s relationship turned south and the couple officially split in January 2015. The couple’s divorce was finalized in May 2020 as they agreed to joint custody of their three children.
