Lina Eriksson is popularly known as the daughter of former Swedish football player and manager Sven-Göran Eriksson.

Born on 5 February 1948, Sven began his playing career at Swedish football Division 4 team Torsby IF at the age of 16. He then played for SK Sifhälla and KB Karlskoga FF before taking retirement at the age of 27 in 1975.  He began his managerial career as an assistant at Degerfors IF before being appointed as an assistant manager of IFK Göteborg. 


As a manager, he has won 18 trophies with clubs in Sweden, Portugal, and Italy. It includes the UEFA Cup and the European Cup Winners’ Cup (the last edition of the latter trophy before its abolition). Moreover, he managed the national teams of England, Mexico, the Philippines, and the Ivory Coast. In England, he has coached two teams; Manchester City and Leicester City.

In January 2024, Sven announced that he had been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. He is in a critical condition now and is approaching the end of his life. A once-married man, he is a father of a son and daughter. Furthermore, he has been involved in multiple high-profile relationships.

Lina is 37 years old, born in the year 1987. She is the youngest of two children of Sven and his former wife Ann-Christine Pettersson. However, not much is known regarding her mother as she prefers to stay away from the spotlight.

Sven and Ann-Christine married in 1977 and divorced in 1994 when he admitted to having an affair with Graziella Mancinelli. The couple also has a son named Johan Eriksson
