Asta recently filed a lawsuit against Diesel claiming that the actor had groped her and forcibly kissed her in a hotel room back in 2010. The lawsuit was registered on Thursday, 21 December 2023.
As per Asta’s statement, Diesel grabbed her, groped her breasts, and forcibly kissed her while she repeatedly said no. The incident took place in an Atlanta hotel room during the filming of the fifth Fast & Furious movie.
Asta also mentioned in her lawsuit filed in Los Angeles that the sexual battery took place less than two weeks after she was hired to work for Diesel. As Diesel tried to grab her wrists and pull her onto the bed, Asta escaped and asked Diesel to leave.
However, the lawsuit claims that Diesel then allegedly began to grope her breasts, kiss her chest, and run his hands along her waist and upper legs. While Asta was afraid to forcibly refuse her superior for her personal safety and job security, she screamed and ran down a hallway as soon as Diesel moved to pull down her underwear.

A lawyer from the Greenberg Gross firm representing Asta said in a statement,
We are proud to represent Ms. Jonasson and hold accountable Vin Diesel and those who allowed and covered up his sexual assault. The law exists to protect those who have been wronged, no matter how powerful or famous the defendant is. Sexual harassment in the workplace will never stop if powerful men are protected from accountability.
In the meantime, Diesel himself has denied the accusation. His lawyer, Bryan Freedman said in a statement that Diesel “categorically denies this claim in its entirety.”
