Brooke Symonds is the ex-wife of a late Australian cricketer and cricket commentator, Andrew Symonds. Andrew played international cricket for his country in all three formats as a batting all-rounder.
Sadly, Andrew passed away on 14 May 2022 following a car crash at the age of 46. The legendary player was killed in a single-vehicle road accident in Townsville, Queensland.

As per Queensland Police, Andrew was driving on Hervey Range Road near the Alice River Bridge. Suddenly, his car left the road and rolled to crash. As Andrew was the only occupant of the car, he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

It was in the Anglican school where Brooke first met her future husband, Andrew Symonds, in 1993. The childhood sweethearts then got married 11 years later on 24 April 2004. Their blissful wedding ceremony was held at St John’s Anglican cathedral in Brisbane, Australia.
However, their relationship started to falter in a few months. Andrew tried everything to save his marriage and he was even on the verge to quit cricket. None of these mattered as Brooke and Andrew ended their marriage with a separation in September 2005.

After their divorce, Andrew went on to marry his wife, Laura in 2014. He had two kids with Laura; a daughter named Chloe Symonds and a son named Billy Symonds.
Andrew and Laura were together until the former’s unfortunate death on 14 May 2022.
