Caitlin has made many news headlines recently after her shameful post following Queen Elizabeth’s death. Taking her Instagram on 8 September 2022, Caitlin referred to the late Monarch as a dumb dog on the day of her death.

The rugby star wrote in the now-deleted post,

Todays a good f***ing day, uncle Luke (country singer Luke Coombs) announces his tour, and this dumb dog (Queen Elizabeth) dies. Happy f***ing Friday.

Caitlin’s disgraceful comment was widely criticized by almost everyone. Someone referred to her as a nasty and ignorant loudmouth. In the meantime, some questioned the integrity of the NRL Women’s Premiership after allowing the player to play in the next match following her shameful act.

Surprisingly, the Newcastle Knights head coach, Ronald Griffiths talked in the defense of his player despite her atrocious behavior. Ronald has since received backlash from many out there.
