The cornerback was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on January 28, 2022. Moreover, he was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and two counts of possession of controlled substances, as per the report.
Damon was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the first round with the 19th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, he was released by the Raiders after a video emerged of him making death threats while brandishing firearms.
Afterward, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins, and later his contract expired when the team’s season ended on January 9, 2022. He played college football at Ohio State University for four years.
