Daniel Gafford was born on October 1, 1998, in Union County, Arkansas, United States. He is one of the five children of Wayne Gafford and Teresa Frazier. He was raised along with four siblings in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Gattford attended El Dorado High School in his hometown. He was committed to the University of Arkansas in 2015, where he started playing college football. He is now majoring in sport management.
