Dannah O’Brien is an Irish rugby union player. She plays as a fly-half for the Ireland women’s national team as well as Leinster Rugby in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup.
O’Brien is representing Ireland in the ongoing Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 held in England. Her team is playing in the quarterfinal game against France with the hope of reaching the semifinals of the competition.

O’Brien initially made her professional debut for the Ireland women’s rugby team against Japan in 2022. She later penned her contract with the Irish Rugby Football Union in November of the same year.
Later on, O’Brien got selected for the WXV1 tournament in Canada in September 2024. She was then named in the Irish squad for the 2025 Six Nations Championship in March 2025, followed by the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
O’Brien plays for Old Belvedere at the club level. She made her debut for Leinster Rugby in January 2023.
