There, he made his debut on the 26 September 2022 episode and emerged as a winner. Likewise, he continued his winning streak for four days and bagged total winnings of $79,098. He is at least the third Episcopal priest to appear on the game show, by Episcopal News Service’s count.
After more than a year of his first appearance, he is returning to the show this season. He is one of the contestants to appear on the Jeopardy! Tournament Of Champions.
This delayed the new season from the beginning. During the strike, the show hosted several Wild Card Tournaments, featuring past season champions that did not win enough games to automatically qualify for the Tournament of Champions.
These games were played with recycled questions from past episodes. Moreover, the winners of each of the tournaments have been included in this year’s Tournament of Champions.

Sibley will compete in the quarterfinal game of the ongoing tournament on 27 February 2024 episode. Ther, he will face two previous season Jeopardy champions; Hannah Wilson, a puzzle designer from Chicago, Illinois, and Yungsheng Wang, a deputy public defender from Lafayette, Louisiana.
On returning to the show, he says that it was a good experience.
I tried to have fun, to be myself, to be a bit goofy, and just enjoy the experience. In getting to meet and spend time with other contestants, I know they feel the same way, too. There are some really amazing games in this Tournament of Champions, so I hope folks will tune in, not just to my quarterfinal, but throughout the tournament — there will be some top-level gameplay going on, and people won’t want to miss it.
