In 2022, he earned his first PGA Tour card after finishing 15th in the Korn Ferry Tour Eligibility Points List. His PGA Tour debut was at the Wyndham Championship at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina in August 2022. There, he finished fourth.

He then lost his status on the Korn Ferry Tour after failing to get through Q-School before the onset of the pandemic. In 2021, he played his way into the Final Stage of Q-School and again secured Korn Ferry Tour status.
Collegiately, he played at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for four seasons. There, he became a two-time honorable mention All-America in 2015 and 2017. He played in 36 tournaments at UNC and has won twice and finished in the top 10 in 12 tournaments.

As an amateur, he won the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions in 2013. He was named the 2013 AJGA Rolex first-team team All-America and the 2014 AJGA Rolex second-team All-America. Additionally, he won the 2011 U.S. Kids Golf.
