Novak turned professional in 2017 and made his way to the PGA Tour through the Canadian and Korn Ferry tour. He won the 2020 LECOM Suncoast Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Prior to that, he played collegiately at Wofford College from 2013 until 2017. There, he was a three-time All-Southern Conference selection and two-time NCAA regional individual qualifier.
