Through a message on the Facebook page, her mother Marcy Posey Gatterman revealed the news about her passing.
“I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever.” She wrote on the page.
According to the sources, she was pronounced dead around 1:20 pm (local time) in Birch Bay State Park, Washington.
Posey rose to fame from her appearance on the TLC’s reality TV show, Toddlers & Tiaras. Moreover, she became a popular GIF for her legendary ‘grinning girl’ meme on the show. She appeared on the show from 2011 to 2012.

Posey’s cause of death has been varied. Some sources suggest that she died from suicide whereas some state that she died from an accident.
