Kelli pursued her high school education at Chaparral High School in Temecula, California.
Standing at the height of 6 feet 2 inches, she played volleyball and even represented with the national team in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
After graduating from high school in 2005, she went to the University of Southern California, getting a volleyball scholarship in 2009.
Tennant was part of the team of the USC Trojans and played collegiate volleyball.
However, in 2007, she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a disorder characterized by widespread pain affecting the muscles and the soft tissue. She retired from volleyball after playing for two years.
