Kris Dunn is an American professional basketball player for the NBA team Chicago Bulls. He played college basketball at Providence College for four seasons.

Kristofer Michael Dunn was born on March 18, 1994, in New London, Connecticut, United States. He is the son of John Seldon and Audra Seldon. He has two brothers, John Dunn and Rashad Pauley and two sisters, Ashley and Ariana Seldon.
Dunn attended New London High School in his hometown, where he played basketball as a point guard. He led his high school to the semifinal round of the 2012 Connecticut Class LL State Championships where they were defeated by St. Joseph’s High School. In 2011, he decided to attend Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island to play college basketball. Later, he earned a degree in social sciences from Providence College in 2016.

His NBA Career
Kris played for the Providence Friars for four seasons from 2012 to 2016. There, he was named one of 10 finalists for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award and named to the 35-man midseason watchlist for the Naismith Trophy.
Dunn was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft on June 23, 2016. He joined the team for the 2016 NBA Summer League and scored a team-high 27 points in his Summer League debut.

On June 22, 2017, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls and made his debut on October 28, in a 101–69 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He suffered from injury with a sprained MCL in his left knee during the against the Dallas Mavericks on October 22, 2018.
