Recently, his team finished second in the EFL Championship 2023-24 season. With this remarkable campaign, the team has now been promoted to the Premier League for the 2024–25 season.

Davis joined Ipswich Town from Leeds United on 25 July 2022. Subsequently, he made his debut for them on the opening day of the 2022–23 season in a 1–1 draw against Bolton Wanderers on 30 July 2022.

While at Leeds United,  he helped the team win promotion to the Premier League in 2020. He joined the team in 2018 and had an impressive stint with Leeds’ Under 23s.  His senior team debut was in a 3–2 win against Aston Villa on 23 December 2018.

Furthermore, he joined Championship side AFC Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal on 27 July 2021. He also helped the team to secure the promotion to the Premier League in 2021.

Leif began his career as a youth player at Wallsend Boys Club in Wallsend, North Tyneside. After spending a year, he joined Morecambe but never made a first-team appearance during his time progressing through their academy.
