In 2013, she made her WTA Tour debut at the Auckland Open. She first represented New Zealand in the 2017 Fed Cup in Dushanbe, Tajikistan where she won two of her three singles matches.

Paige reached her first WTA final at the 2019 Auckland Open, with partner Taylor Townsend. However, the duo was defeated by Eugenie Bouchard and Sofia Kenin 6–1, 1–6, [7–10].

Collegiately, she played at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014 and 2017. There, she earned the 2018 All-ACC First Team and the 2018 ITA All-American in both singles and doubles. 

As a junior, she has won five singles and five doubles titles and has twice competed in the Australian Open junior singles. She has a career-best ITF Junior Ranking of no. 175, achieved on 22 October 2012.

Born Paige Mary Hourigan on 3 February 1997, she has reached the age of 27 now. Her birthplace is Turakina, a city in the North Island, New Zealand.

Standing at a height of 5 feet 6 inches, she used to play tennis at local tennis courts at an early age. She used to play other sports but decided to focus solely on tennis at the age of 12. Paige first attended Nga Tawa Diocesan School in Marton before transferring to Saint Kentigern College in Auckland. She also helped win a national title for her college team. In 2014, she secured  a full scholarship to Georgia Tech in Atlanta. She graduated from college with a business marketing degree in 2018.

Paige is the daughter of Phil Hourigan and Tracy Hourigan. Her parents raised her in Turakina, New Zealand.

Sadly, her father Phil died because of a brain bleed at the age of 52 in July 2019. Because of the family tragedy, she was away from tennis for several months.

An only daughter in a family of five children, she has four brothers named Sean, Conor, Beau, and Patrick Hourigan. Beau is a graduate of Westmere School and Rathkeale College.
