I’ve loved Jeopardy! since I was a little kid—learning I’d passed the test, going through the audition process, getting “The Call,” walking onto the Alex Trebek Stage, and finally(!!!) getting to play the game in the studio was without a doubt the coolest, most exhilarating, and wildest dream come true and I’m sure I’ll be daydreaming about it some more for the rest of my life.

Horn’s first opponent on Friday will be the returning champion, Jamie Ding. Similarly, she will share the stage with a poker player from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Emmett Laurie.
Ding, a bureaucrat & law student from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, is running riot on Jeopardy! He won his 15th straight game on Thursday, claiming the one-day total of $56,400.
While Ding is dominating the Jeopardy! stage with $428,000 from his 15-game winning streak, it will be interesting to see if Horn can finally put an end to his winning run.
