Tim is making the media headlines after his decision to run for the Montana U.S. Senate seat. He officially joined the Republican field challenging Democratic Senate Jon Tester on Tuesday, 27 June 2023.

Tim had explained that he became familiar with Montana in the military while doing mountain training in the state. Now with his candidacy, Montana’s U.S. Senate race is going to be one of the most closely watched races in the country in 2024.

Tim then took the role of U.S. Navy SEAL/SDV Mission Commander in September 2009. He served as a Mission Commander till October 2014. During his tenure, Tim served in Iraq, Afghanistan, South America, and the Pacific region.
Eventually, Tim worked as a U.S. Naval Reserve Officer in Bozeman, Montana from September 2014 to June 2019. During his tenure, he served as a regional US Naval Academy recruiter and screener. Tim was responsible for the assessment of candidates for the US Naval Academy throughout the state of Montana.

The pair first met each other in Afghanistan when both Tim and Carmen were serving there. They soon fell for each other and even decided to move to Montana when their military careers were over.
Following their retirement, Tim and Carmen moved to Big Sky Country to start a new life. Initially, they moved into a tent on a small 60-acre farm outside of Belgrade.

Eventually, Tim and his wife founded Bridger Aerospace in 2014. Later in 2019, the married pair purchased the Lazy Daisy, Daisy Dean, and Robidou ranches to reconsolidate the historic Cameron Ranch in Meagher County. The pair was even awarded the 2021 Conservation Award for protecting the Little Belt Ranch.
On top of that, Tim and Carmen are involved in charity work as well. Previously in April 2022, they donated $500,000 to the Montana Historical Society (MTHS).
