Wendell Carter, Jr. is an American basketball player currently playing for the NBA team Orlando Magic. He plays as a center and power forward, wearing jersey number #34.

The Chicago Bulls selected him as the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Subsequently, he made his NBA debut against the Philadelphia 76ers on 18 October 2018.
After playing three seasons with the Bulls, he was traded to the Orlando Magic on 25 March 2021. He signed a contract extension with the team in October of the same year.
Carter played college football at Duke University in the 20178-18 season. He averaged 13.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game and finished second all-time among Duke freshman in rebounds (335), blocked shots (76), and double-doubles (16).

Internationally, the 6-foot-10-inch has played for the United States U17 team. Moreover, he represented the team at the FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup.
