Before joining ESPN, he was a college basketball analyst for NBC Sports Network, joining in 2012.  Likewise, he worked for NBCSN and Comcast SportsNet New England (CSNNE) as a host and reporter. While at NBCSN, he was a reporter at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The ESPN Analyst hosted various types of studio programming at CSNNE such as nightly news/highlights, opinion, team-specific magazine shows, and pre/post-game shows.  Prior to that, he worked for Madison Square Garden Network in New York City. There, he primarily worked for MSG Varsity, covering the high school sports scene across the tri-state area as a basketball analyst, studio host, and reporter.

Dalen began his broadcasting career as an analyst for the Columbia University Men’s basketball radio broadcasts in 2009. There, he worked alongside Jerry Recco as the color commentator for all Columbia men’s basketball games on gocolumbialions.com.

Dalen Cuff has reached the age of 40 now. He was born in the year 1983 and his birthday falls on the 18th of November.

The broadcaster hails from Palm Harbor, Florida, United States, He attended East Lake High School where he also played high school basketball. He stands at a towering height of 6 feet 3 inches (1.9 meters).

After graduating, he went to Columbia University where he played college basketball. He was the captain of the Columbia men’s basketball team in his senior year.

Before beginning his broadcasting career he held a job in marketing at Inter Public Group for five years to save enough money to quit and pursue broadcasting. His first two events were the U.S. Open and Fashion Week.

Cuff is also a soccer fan and supports the Premier League club Arsenal.

Dalen was raised by his parents Dennis Cuff and Patricia (Aloia) Cuff in Palm Harbor, Florida. His father Dennis played college basketball at Duquesne University. Afterward, he worked as a  pharmacist until his retirement in 2001.

The former college basketball player’s father died at the age of 69 on  18 July 2012. He is accompanied by four siblings; three brothers named Derek Cuff, Devin Cuff, and Darin Cuff, and a sister named Dayna Cuff Coleman.

Cuff got married to Adrienne Thurman on 15th May 2017. Adrienne is a fiction author of picture books and novels for adults.

Together, they have an adorable daughter named Lyra Vivienne Cuff. Lyra was born on 19 October 2018.

Dalen is now in a relationship with another journalist Kelsey Riggs. Kelsey serves as an anchor and reporter for ESPN/ACC Network. She joined ESPN in 2019 for the launch of ACC Network, the 24/7 national network dedicated to Atlantic Coast Conference sports.
