Previously, she worked as a reporter at CBS Boston from June 2021 to June 2022. There, she covered a number of national and breaking news stories such as the Boston Marathon, the Harmony Montgomery disappearance, and the Celtics’ journey to the NBA Finals.
Maldonado was a reporter and fill-in anchor at FOX61 News in Hartford, Connecticut. While working there for more than a year, she covered breaking news and was involved in leveraging social media and community/official connections to bring exclusive angles to everyday stories.

Earlier, she was a multimedia journalist for PBS outside of Philadelphia. There, she helped launch a brand new, nightly newscast and solely wrote, shot, edited, and produced enterprising packages.
As an anchor and reporter, she has also hosted specials for WPSU, a PBS/NPR Member Station serving central Pennsylvania. She began her media career after completing an internship at NBC News.
