Jake Reiner is an American actor. Besides, he is best known for being the son of an acclaimed director and actor, Rob Reiner.
The Reiner family is going through a tragedy as Jake’s parents, Rob and Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, on 14 December 2025.

Rob and Michele were found sustaining fatal stab wounds as the Los Angeles Fire Department went to the crime scene after responding to the medical aid. Rob was 78, and Michele was 68 at the time of their tragic death.
Interestingly, Rob’s youngest son, Nick Reiner, has been a prime suspect in the killing of his parents. The 32-year-old screenwriter had been dealing with drug addiction for a long time now.
Rob’s daughter, Romy Reiner, found her parents’ dead bodies in their home.
