Romy Reiner is the youngest child of late Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.
Rob, 78, one of Hollywood’s most influential filmmakers, and his wife, photographer Michele, 68, were found dead inside their Los Angeles home on 14 December 2025.

Romy was the one who found her parents’ dead body in the residence. It was reported that on Sunday, at about 3:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) was called to a home to provide medical aid.

The multiple sources suggests that the power couple were killed by their youngest son, Nick Reiner, according to the conversasion with family members. However, police have not yet confirmed the account.
Nick, aged 32, has previously spoken openly about his long struggle with drug addiction in interviews. He even co-wrote semi-autobiographical film Being Charlie from the experience of his drug addiction and periods of homelessness.
