An Economics professor from Lakewood, Ohio, he made his debut on the 7 December 2022 episode. There, he became a one-day winner with a score of $19,599 and returned on the next episode. However, he was unable to continue his winning streak.

After more than a year of his appearances, he is returning to the show again this season. He will be competing in a quarterfinal game of the Jeopardy! Season 39 Champions Wildcard tournament.

Moreover, he is one of the previous season’s champions who will compete for a slot in the Tournament of Champions this season. His episode airs on 22 January 2024.

Ron Cheung seems to be in his late 40s now. He was born and raised by his family in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
